Today’s biologists studying modern animals can observe them as they live and breathe. Palaeontologists studying fossils only have pieces of bone and shell to work from. Have you ever wondered how can they turn those fossils back into a living, breathing, animal?
Dr Paddy Orr, Ireland’s dinosaur expert, will talk about how palaeontologists use different types of information provided by fossils to reconstruct the lost world of the dinosaurs - even down to the colours of the feathers which many species had!
