The Living Seas marine litter art competition is an initiative to raise public awareness, particularly among schoolchildren, of the serious and growing problem of marine litter in our ocean, and its impact on our wildlife. The competition involves students visiting their local beach where they will collect marine litter and turn it into a piece of 3D artwork under the theme of marine wildlife. The winning pieces will become a free-to visit exhibition for the duration of NI Science Festival 2017. The winning school will receive 30 tickets to a NI Science Festival event.
