Travel 10,000 Years in an Hour

Saturday 25 February, 10:00 am - 4:00 pm

Suitability: All Ages

Free. Drop In.

Visit our drop in exhibition and learn about 10,000 years of Ulster’s history.
See displays and presentations based on the work of the Centre for Archaeological Fieldwork at Queen’s, now celebrating 15 years of discovering the past. Examine and handle real archaeological artefacts, look at archaeological samples under a microscope. Talk to archaeologists from the Centre for Archaeological Fieldwork at Queen’s and ask them questions about the archaeology all around you. Young children can take part in our “sandbox dig” and search for finds. The event is suitable for all ages but children must be accompanied by an adult.
